ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

This regulator motor is designed for use with an anti-pinch (one-touch) window system. Do not power-test the motor before installation, as this can cause the anti-pinch setting to fail and require resetting.

• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to confirm the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch so the window travels fully to the top and verify it does not drop.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the function is correctly set.
