ANTI-PINCH MOTOR SETUP & RESET

If the vehicle is equipped with an anti-pinch one-touch function, correct setup of the electric motor is critical.

• Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail.
• Motors are pre-tested and set correctly before dispatch.
• Install the regulator and motor, connect to the one-touch window switch and operate the window up.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, follow the reset procedure below.

Anti-pinch reset steps:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window fully up.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top without dropping. If it still drops, repeat the above steps until the function is correctly set.
