ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION – IMPORTANT NOTE

Some window motors use an anti-pinch safety function. If your vehicle is equipped with this feature, correct installation and reset are essential for proper operation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.
• Install the motor to the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up to raise the glass; if it goes up fully and stays at the top, the function is set correctly.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, follow the reset procedure below and repeat if necessary.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the reset is successful.
