IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES

This regulator is designed for use with an electric window motor and one-touch window switch (where fitted). If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch motor system, correct setup of the anti-pinch function is essential after installation.

ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (WHERE APPLICABLE)

If your existing motor has an anti-pinch function and the window drops after reaching the top position, the anti-pinch system may need to be reset after installation.

• Step 1: With the regulator and motor installed in the door, pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds when the window reaches the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check that it no longer drops down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
