INSTALLATION & ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION

This regulator is designed for use with an electric motor (not supplied). If your vehicle uses a motor with an anti-pinch safety function, the motor may require a reset after installation.

• Do not power the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may need resetting.
• Connect the motor to the one-touch window switch and check that the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, follow the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
