ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (FOR MOTORS WITH ONE-TOUCH FEATURE)

For vehicles equipped with an electric motor with anti-pinch/one-touch function, the motor may require reset after installation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail.
• Install the motor on the regulator and connect to the one-touch window switch.
• Check operation: pull the switch up to raise the window. If the window goes fully up and stays, no reset is required.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset steps below.

Reset procedure for anti-pinch function:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
