INSTALLATION & ANTI-PINCH NOTE

This regulator is designed to work with the existing electric window motor and one-touch window switch where fitted. If used with a motor that has an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, the anti-pinch setting may need to be reset after installation.

General reset guideline for anti-pinch motors:

• Install the motor onto the regulator in the door before testing.
• Connect the motor to the one-touch window switch.
• If the window goes fully up and then drops slightly, perform an anti-pinch reset.

Typical reset steps:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the glass fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window to the top and verify it no longer drops.

Repeat the reset procedure if the window still drops after reaching the top. Always follow the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions where available.
