ANTI-PINCH MOTOR RESET NOTE

If your vehicle uses a window motor with an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, correct setup is critical for proper operation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.
• Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch before testing.
• Pull the switch up; if the window goes fully to the top and stays there, the setting is correct.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, follow the reset steps below.

ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it still drops after reaching the top, repeat the procedure until successful.
