ANTI-PINCH MOTOR SETUP (GENERAL GUIDANCE)

If your vehicle uses a motor with an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, the motor may need to be reset after installation. Do not test the motor before it is correctly installed in the door, as this can affect the anti-pinch calibration.

• Install the regulator and motor assembly in the door and connect the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the window to the top end position and check if it remains fully closed.
• If the glass drops after reaching the top, an anti-pinch reset may be required.

Typical reset procedure (may vary by vehicle):

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Operate the one-touch function again and confirm the window stays closed at the top.

Repeat the reset procedure if the window still drops after reaching the top. Refer to your vehicle’s service information for model-specific instructions.
