Anti-Pinch Function Reset (Motors with One-Touch)

When used with a window motor that has an anti-pinch or one-touch function, the motor may require resetting after installation.

• Install the motor on the regulator and connect the one-touch window switch before testing.
• Do not power the motor before it is installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch setting may be lost.
• After installation, raise the window using the switch. If the glass reaches the top and then drops, follow the reset procedure below.

Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the switch in the one-touch up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the switch in the one-touch down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and confirm that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
