ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (IF APPLICABLE TO YOUR MOTOR)

If your electric motor uses an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, it may require reset after installation of the regulator.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail.
• The motors are typically pre-tested and set correctly before delivery.
• After installation, connect the motor to the one-touch window switch and operate the window fully up.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, follow the reset procedure below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window no longer drops after reaching the top. If it still drops, repeat the above steps until successful.
