ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (MOTOR)

If used with a window motor that has an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, the motor must be correctly set up after installation. Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.

• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to confirm the window travels fully up and down.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds with the window at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds with the window at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check that it does not drop back down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
