ANTI-PINCH MOTOR SETUP (IF APPLICABLE)

If your vehicle uses a window motor with an anti-pinch function, follow the reset procedure below after installation. Do not power-test the motor before it is mounted in the door, as this can cause the anti-pinch function to fail and require resetting.

• Install the motor to the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch: the window should travel fully up. If it drops after reaching the top, a reset is required.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops again, repeat the steps until successful.
