ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (FOR MOTORS WITH ANTI-PINCH)

If your window motor uses an anti-pinch function, it may require resetting after installation of the regulator.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door or the anti-pinch function may fail.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up to raise the window fully. If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset steps below.

Anti-pinch reset steps:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves up slightly to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves down slightly to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it still drops, repeat the procedure.
