ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (MOTOR, IF EQUIPPED)

If your vehicle uses an electric motor with anti-pinch function, the system may require resetting after installation.

• Install the regulator and motor in the door and connect to the one-touch window switch before testing.
• If the window goes up fully and stays at the top, the setting is correct.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function as follows:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window to the top and check it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
