ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION NOTE (WINDOW MOTOR)

If your vehicle uses a window motor with anti-pinch and one-touch function, correct setup is essential for proper operation.

RESET INSTRUCTIONS FOR ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
• The motors are tested and set up correctly before delivery.
• Install the motor and connect it with the one-touch window switch. Pull up the switch; the window should go up fully if set correctly.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, follow the reset steps below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops again after reaching the top, repeat the above steps.
