ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (IF APPLICABLE)

Some window motors feature an anti-pinch safety function. If the window drops after reaching the top, the motor may require resetting after installation.

• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch before testing.
• Do not operate the motor outside the door assembly, as this can affect the anti-pinch setting.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly learned.
