ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (WHERE APPLICABLE)

Some electric window motors are equipped with an anti-pinch safety function. Incorrect handling before installation can cause this function to malfunction and require resetting.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull up the switch and check that the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top and verify it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the steps above until the function is correctly set.
