Anti-Pinch Function – Important Notice
This regulator may be used with motors that include an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. Incorrect testing or installation can cause the anti-pinch feature to malfunction.
- Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door.
- Motors are factory tested and preset before dispatch.
- Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
- Pull the switch up to raise the window and check it reaches the top correctly.
- If the glass drops after reaching the top, the anti-pinch function must be reset.
Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure
- Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
- Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
- Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
- Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
- Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top.
The reset is complete if the window remains at the top and does not drop. If it still drops, repeat the above steps until the function is correctly set.
Installation & Notes
- Professional installation by a qualified automotive mechanic is strongly recommended.
- Use this part for repair or replacement of an existing window regulator assembly.
- Colour and finish may appear slightly different in images due to lighting and screen settings.
- Always match the mounting points, connector type, and overall design to your original part before installation.
