ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

For window regulators with anti-pinch function, the motor must be correctly set in the door before testing. Do not power-test the motor before installation, as this may require resetting the anti-pinch function.

• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull up the switch: the window should move fully up and stay at the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check that it does not drop.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the reset is successful.
