ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION & INITIAL SETUP

If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch (one-touch) window function, correct setup after installation is essential for proper operation.

• Do not operate or test the motor before it is fully installed in the door.
• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up to raise the window; it should move fully to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, the anti-pinch system must be reset.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top without dropping. If it still drops, repeat the above steps until successful.
