ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

This regulator motor may include an anti-pinch function. Incorrect testing before installation can cause the function to fail and require resetting. Follow the guidelines below after installation.

• Do not power or test the motor before it is fully installed in the door.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up and confirm the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch so the window travels up to the top again.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it still drops, repeat the steps until successful.
