ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

This regulator motor supports an anti-pinch safety function. Incorrect testing before installation can cause the function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not power-test the motor before installing it in the door.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up to check the window goes fully up.
• If the window drops down automatically at the top, perform the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check it no longer drops down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the steps above until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
