ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET

Some electric window motors use an anti-pinch safety function. Incorrect testing before installation can cause malfunction and require resetting.

• Do not test the motor before it is fully installed in the door.
• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up to confirm that the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window fully up and confirm it remains at the top.

If the window still drops, repeat the steps until the reset is successful.
