ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (IF APPLICABLE)

If the motor is equipped with an anti-pinch function, it must be correctly initialised after installation. Do not operate or test the motor before it is installed in the door, as this may cause the anti-pinch function to fail and require reset.

• Install the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up: the window should travel fully to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, follow the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly initialised.
