Anti-Pinch Reset Information (If Applicable)

Some electric window motors are equipped with an anti-pinch safety function. If the window drops after reaching the top, an anti-pinch reset may be required.

• Do not test the motor outside the door assembly, or the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
• Install the regulator and motor, connect to the one-touch window switch and test operation.
• If the window goes fully up and stays up, no reset is required.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, follow the reset steps below and repeat if necessary.

Anti-Pinch Reset Steps

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until successful.
