ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION & RESET (WHERE APPLICABLE)

For window regulators supplied with an anti-pinch motor, do not test the motor outside the door before installation, as the anti-pinch function may require resetting.

• Install the regulator and motor in the door and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the window fully and confirm correct operation.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform a reset of the anti-pinch function.

Reset procedure (if required):

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the reset is successful.
