Anti-Pinch Function Setup (If Applicable)

Some electric window motors include an anti-pinch safety function. Incorrect testing before installation can cause this function to lose its setting. Follow these steps after installation if the window drops after reaching the top position:

• Install the regulator and motor in the door and connect to the one-touch window switch.
• Confirm the window travels fully to the top when the switch is pulled up.
• If the glass drops after reaching the top, reset using the procedure below.

Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window fully to the top and check it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
