ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (WHERE APPLICABLE)

If the regulator motor is equipped with an anti-pinch or one-touch function, follow these general guidelines after installation:

• Install the motor in the door before operating it.
• Connect to the one-touch window switch and raise the window fully.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, a reset of the anti-pinch function is required.

Typical reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass fully to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to confirm the window travels up and remains at the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
