ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (IF APPLICABLE)

For window regulators with motors that include an anti-pinch or one-touch function, correct setup is essential:

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
• The motors are pre-tested and set correctly before dispatch.
• After installation, connect the one-touch window switch and raise the window. It should travel fully to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

Anti-pinch reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it still drops, repeat the steps until successful.
