ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (IF EQUIPPED)

If the vehicle is equipped with an anti-pinch one-touch window function, the motor must be installed and initialised correctly. Do not power the motor before it is mounted in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch setting may be lost.

• Install the regulator and motor in the door and connect the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the window fully and check if it stays at the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

Anti-pinch reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the top stop.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the “up” position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window fully to the bottom stop.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the “down” position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until the anti-pinch function is correctly initialised.
