ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch function, do not power-test the motor before installation, as this can cause the function to fail and require resetting.

• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull up the switch and check that the window moves fully to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function using the steps below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops again, repeat the procedure until successful.
