ANTI-PINCH MOTOR SETUP (IF APPLICABLE)

If your vehicle uses a window motor with an anti-pinch function, correct setup is essential for proper operation. Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, as this can affect the anti-pinch calibration.

• Install the motor to the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the window fully. If the glass rises smoothly and stays at the top, setup is correct.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform a reset of the anti-pinch function as outlined below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the UP position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the DOWN position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window to the top and check operation.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top without dropping. If it still drops, repeat the procedure until the function is correctly set.
