Anti-Pinch Motor Function

This regulator is compatible with electric motors that may feature an anti-pinch function. If your motor includes this function, correct setup is essential:

• Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the motor to the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull the switch up to raise the window fully and confirm correct operation.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, the anti-pinch function must be reset.

Anti-pinch reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top again.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops, repeat the steps until successful.
