ANTI-PINCH MOTOR SETUP (IF APPLICABLE)

For vehicles equipped with a window motor that has an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, the motor must be correctly set up after installation of the regulator.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
• Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the window fully and confirm normal operation.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform the reset steps below.

Anti-pinch reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the glass slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly to move the glass slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Use the one-touch function to raise the window to the top and confirm it stays closed.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above reset procedure until it operates correctly.
