Anti-Pinch Motor Function

If your vehicle uses an electric motor with anti-pinch and one-touch function, it may require resetting after installation. Do not test the motor before it is fitted in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may fail and need to be reset.

Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves up slightly to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds when the window is fully closed.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly so the window moves down slightly to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds when the window is fully open.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check that it no longer drops back down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
