Anti-Pinch Motor Setup

This regulator is compatible with electric window motors that may use an anti-pinch function. If your vehicle is equipped with an anti-pinch motor, it may require resetting after installation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.
• After installation, connect the motor to the one-touch window switch and check that the window travels fully upward.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform an anti-pinch reset.

Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window fully to the top.

The reset is successful if the window remains at the top and does not drop down. If it continues to drop, repeat the steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
