Anti-Pinch Function Setup (Motor Information)

If your window regulator motor includes an anti-pinch function, correct setup is essential. Do not operate or test the motor before it is installed in the door, as this may cause loss of the anti-pinch setting.

• Install the motor to the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Pull up the switch; correct operation is when the window travels fully to the top position.
• If the window drops slightly after reaching the top, the anti-pinch function must be reset.

Reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window up to the top again and confirm that it remains in position.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly configured.
