ANTI-PINCH RESET INFORMATION

For window regulators with motors that include an anti-pinch or one-touch function, correct setup is essential.

• Do not test the motor before it is fully installed in the door.
• The motors are pre-tested and set before dispatch.
• Install the motor, connect it to the one-touch window switch, and operate the switch to confirm full travel.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform a reset of the anti-pinch function.

Anti-pinch reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up and check operation.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the function is correctly set.
