ANTI-PINCH MOTOR RESET INFORMATION

This regulator is supplied without a motor. If used with an electric motor that has an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, correct setup of the motor is essential after installation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.
• Install the motor to the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the window to the top. If it then drops down, the anti-pinch function must be reset.

Reset procedure for motors with anti-pinch function:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window fully up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window fully down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window up to the top and confirm that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until the anti-pinch function operates correctly.
