Anti-Pinch Function Setup (Where Applicable)

If your vehicle uses a window regulator motor with anti-pinch and one-touch function, do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door, as this may cause the function to fail and require resetting.

• Install the motor to the regulator and door, and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to confirm the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the reset procedure below.

Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds with the window at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds with the window at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and check that it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
