ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP (WHERE APPLICABLE)

If your vehicle uses a window regulator motor with an anti-pinch function, follow these guidelines:

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
• The motors are tested and pre-set before dispatch.
• Install the motor, connect it to the one-touch window switch and operate the window up so it moves fully to the top.
• If the window goes up then drops slightly, perform the reset procedure.

Anti-pinch reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves up slightly to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it still moves down, repeat the above steps.
