ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch (one-touch) function, the motor must be correctly initialised after installation.

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door or the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch. Pull the switch up and confirm the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, follow the reset procedure below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully to the top and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the anti-pinch function is correctly set.
