ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (WHERE APPLICABLE)

If the motor is used with a window regulator that has an anti-pinch or one-touch function, it may require resetting after installation.

• Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door.
• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch and check that the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops after reaching the top, perform a reset as outlined below.

RESET PROCEDURE (SUMMARY)

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly up to the top.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top position.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the glass moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom position.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up and confirm it no longer drops.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset steps until the function is correctly set.
