ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION RESET (WHERE APPLICABLE)

If your vehicle uses an anti-pinch function with one-touch window operation, the motor must be correctly set up after installation. Do not power-test the motor before it is installed in the door, as this may cause the anti-pinch function to fail and require resetting.

• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to raise the window fully and check operation.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the reset steps below.

RESET PROCEDURE (SUMMARY)

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves up slightly to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to raise the window fully and confirm it no longer drops after reaching the top.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the reset procedure until the function operates correctly.
