ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION NOTICE

For window regulator motors equipped with an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function, the motor must be correctly set after installation. Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, otherwise the anti-pinch function may fail and require resetting.

ANTI-PINCH RESET PROCEDURE

• Install the motor and connect it to the one-touch window switch. Pull the switch up; the window should move fully to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform the following reset steps.

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds once the window is at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds once the window is at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top and does not drop. If it still drops, repeat the procedure until successful.
