ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION SETUP

This motor may be used with window regulators equipped with an anti-pinch (one-touch) function. Follow these guidelines to avoid malfunction:

• Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
• The motors are tested and set correctly before dispatch.
• Install the motor, connect it to the one-touch window switch, then pull the switch up to confirm that the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, reset the anti-pinch function as described below.

ANTI-PINCH RESET INSTRUCTIONS

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds with the window at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds with the window at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to raise the window to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top. If it drops again after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until successful.
