INSTALLATION & ANTI-PINCH RESET

This regulator is designed for use with electric window motors that may feature an anti-pinch (one-touch) safety function. Incorrect handling of the motor before installation can cause the anti-pinch function to fail and require resetting.

• Do not power-test the motor before it is fully installed in the door.
• Install the motor on the regulator and connect it to the one-touch window switch.
• Operate the switch to confirm the window travels fully to the top.
• If the glass drops down after reaching the top, the anti-pinch function must be reset.

Anti-pinch reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly up to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch up for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly so the window moves slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch down for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top without dropping. If it still drops, repeat the steps until successful.
