ANTI-PINCH MOTOR SETUP (IF EQUIPPED)

If your vehicle uses a window motor with anti-pinch and one-touch function, follow these guidelines after installing the regulator and refitting the motor:

• Do not operate the motor before it is installed in the door, or the anti-pinch function may require resetting.
• After installation, connect the motor to the one-touch window switch and test that the window travels fully to the top.
• If the window drops down after reaching the top, perform an anti-pinch reset.

Anti-pinch reset procedure:

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window up slightly to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch switch in the up position for 3–5 seconds.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly to move the window slightly down to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch switch in the down position for 3–5 seconds.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch to move the window fully up to the top and verify it no longer drops down.

If the window still drops after reaching the top, repeat the above steps until the function is correctly set.
