Anti-Pinch Function – Important Note

If your vehicle uses a window motor with anti-pinch and one-touch function, the motor must be correctly set after installation. Do not test the motor before it is installed in the door, as this may cause the anti-pinch function to fail and require resetting.

The motors are normally pre-tested and set correctly, but if the window drops down after reaching the top position, follow the reset procedure below.

Anti-Pinch Reset Procedure

• Step 1: Pull the window switch briefly to move the window up slightly to the top position.
• Step 2: Hold the one-touch window switch in the UP position for 3–5 seconds at the top.
• Step 3: Press the window switch briefly DOWN to move the window slightly to the bottom position.
• Step 4: Hold the one-touch window switch in the DOWN position for 3–5 seconds at the bottom.
• Step 5: Pull the one-touch switch again to move the window fully up to the top.

The reset is complete if the window remains at the top and does not drop back down. If it still drops, repeat the procedure until successful.
